Freebie Time - Finally

I know I mentioned I was back, but I did not imagine that it would take me so long to catch up. I also have way too many photos to scrap. I have spent days going thru them and writing down my memories of them - so I don't forget by the time I get to them.

Home Again

Finally back from our trip to the Mediterranean. It was a beautiful place to visit. I would have to say that Italy was my favorite country to visit. The country itself is very tourist friendly. Of course I need not mention the food.

We took a tour of the Isle of Capri, what a beautiful island. I will say that the drivers are crazy. Their roads are about wide enough to fit 2 smaller sized cars side by side, yet they drive these mid size tour buses up this mountain on the island. The only thing between you and falling of the side is a stone wall. Quite scary.

Rome was a favorite spot for my kids. They loved seeing the coloseum. My favorite was Venice. It is a beautiful "city". Of course it is a bunch of islands technically... I like the fact that there are no cars. You get around by commuter boat. They have boat stops, much more interesting than bus stops, don't you think?
